Center of Innovation

Fermentation Technology

Soy sauce, cheese, natto, enzymes, vinegar and cider are some of the greatest food & beverages produced from fermentation techniques. By using latest technology & scientific breakthrough, we are able to produce some of the world's best fermented products.

Our fermentation researches include most types of fermented food & beverages, including herbal-based, botanical-based, bean-based, grain-based, vegetable-based, fruit-based, honey-based, tea-based, enzymes, kombucha, miso, natto, soy sauce, tempeh, kimchi and others.

Tissue Culture Development

Our main research & application is focusing on mass production of low cost, improved & consistent high quality functional raw material for the use of food & beverage industry. On the other hand, to produce improved & consistent high quality herbal seeding or young plants for commercial herbal plantation.

The center of our tissue culture is focusing on cultures of medicinal plants & fungi. High functional properties plants are propagated in our laboratories.

Microbiology Research

Microorganism plays an important role in the development of functional food & beverage industry. One of our main objectives is to find & develop better & stronger microorganism species that can bring better health properties to mankind. As of today, we are studying various types of probiotics in food & beverage application.

Industrial microbiology: We also studying microbes for use in industrial processes & fermentation. Examples include industrial fermentation and wastewater treatment. This field also includes vinegar and dairy products production, an important application of microbiology.

Phytonutrient Application

One of the biggest hidden treasures of the mother nature is the undiscovered functions & properties of natural plants, floral & fauna. Many of the biggest medical discoveries are derived from natural plants. One of our main objectives is to discover the greatest natural health treasure that would revolutionize mankind's health!

Scientists estimate that there are about 10,000 different phytochemicals that are considered beneficial in the prevention of chronic diseases such as cancer, stroke, and heart disease. Although certain phytochemicals are available as dietary supplements, research suggests that their health benefits are best obtained through quality raw materials & ingredients.

Laboratory studies prove that phytochemicals in fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of cancer, partially due to dietary fibers, polyphenol antioxidants and anti-inflammatory effects.

Herbal Medicine Research

From ancient herbal applications to today's technological advancement, herbal applications have evolved to a higher laurel, widely accepted from scientific perspectives. One of our main objectives is to find & create Miracles from herbals of the world's 6 continents. There are more than 13,000 types of unknown or rare, special natural plants that can be researched & developed into Miracles of tomorrow's medical science!

In 2001, researchers identified 122 compounds used in mainstream medicine which were derived from ethnomedical plant sources; 80% of these compounds were used in the same or related manner as the traditional ethnomedical use.

At least 12,000 chemical compounds have been isolated so far; a number estimated to be less than 10% of the total. Chemical compounds in plants mediate their effects on the human body by binding to receptor molecules present in the body; such processes are identical to those already well understood for conventional drugs and as such herbal medicines do not differ greatly from conventional drugs in terms of how they work. This enables herbal medicines to be in principle just as effective as conventional medicines but also gives them the same potential to cause harmful side effects. Hence, it must be carefully formulated & administered.

Antioxidant Application

Our antioxidants research including the following ingredients & areas.

Vitamins / Vitamin cofactors and minerals / Carotenoid terpenoids / Flavonoids / Phenolic acids and their esters / Polyphenol antioxidant / Other non-flavonoid phenolics / Other potential organic antioxidants / ORAC in foods / Physiological context
